Features of Personal Accident Insurance

AXA Mansard will pay compensation to the insured or the named beneficiary (as the case may be) if during the valid period of insurance the Insured suffers a physical injury due to an accident that causes death or total permanent disability.

• Permanent Disability - This means disablement that prevents the insured from being able to work again or causing a total loss of any of the body parts as described in the schedule of benefits. The permanent disability benefit is paid based on a percentage limit as described in the schedule of benefits.
• Medical Expenses - Medical expenses shall include the following:
  • - Medical, surgical and hospital treatment, skilled nursing and services and supply of medicines and surgical dressing.
  • - Travelling expenses incurred in the course of receiving medical treatment with proof.
• Accidental Death - In the unfortunate event of demise resulting from accident, the entire Sum Insured will be paid to the insured person's stated beneficiary(ies).
